Heard ISU coach say something interesting in huddle during the under 16 time out
Just now watching the game on replay. Listening as they come back from commercial at 1:20, you can hear Coach Otzleberger say "I told you we're the more physical team. Now they're gonna call the fouls on them and we don't have any." And at that moment he was right!

IOW - be the aggressor, be rough, make contact. Not only will you get away with it and disrupt the opponent, but the other team will end up getting called for more fouls.

Some of us have noticed this in B12 games against physically aggressive teams - I have, but wondered if what it looked like was really happening. Turns out, it's so real, it's a strategy! How it works, I don't know, but it does and Houston maybe does it best.
