I have sons that play RB. I’ve told them that anyone can get the ball handed off to them and then get tackled by one defender at the line of scrimmage. The RB’s job is the make a guy miss, require two or more tacklers, out run the defender(s), put a move on a defender etc…

If a player requires the perfect pass in order to catch it at the college level then you don’t have the right player in. Anyone can catch a perfectly thrown ball.

Marion is a total stud and I’m a huge fan but that drop was 100% on Marion. Any big time NFL QB would have been upset with Marion for that drop. Listen to old Payton Manning clips when he gets pissed at receivers for making one handed grabs. He doesn’t care that they caught the ball — he wants two hands stretched every time.
