neighborhood that is on a 25mph street that when you take the corner at legal speeds you can definitely feel the power steering fight you in a FWD car and feel a RWD car want to rotate in. That's classic over vs. understeer right there.
I have a couple of other corners on my commute that has the same effect at legal speeds.
When you know what you are feeling for, it becomes pretty obvious the moment you sit into a FWD car.
It's not hard to determine which wheels are powering your drivetrain and you don't have to push it at illegal speeds to feel it either.
