Check odot. If you have snow in the Columbia river gorge or Blue mountains take
Hwy 20. Bend to Ontario is the fastest route anyway. I have driven both in bad weather and George is a nightmare in bad weather.

I think I’m more worried about bad weather on route 20 because it’s so remote
