Jesus Christ to be the foundation of Christmas and the Santa part to just be a fun tradition. Our elf and Santa both write notes to the kids teaching them about Christ. Its our best effort, I think it will work out.

My parents never did Santa, and I didn't with mine either. I don't really have strong opinions about either way.

I don't know. I don't like Santa personally, I find aspects of the tradition to be a bit weird.
