This morning I was thinking about it and how it would have been much better if he were the Big Ed tire salesman, who dreamed about his missed opportunity, suddenly transformed into the Wall Street titan and he realized how much he missed his wife and kids and goes looking for Kate, realizing that he had a great life with his family.
On another note, why didn't Nic Cage, in the alternative life, take the tire store and apply financially wizardry and turn it into a chain. Why would he had have been satisfied just selling "tires for retail!", when he could have built on that and made it into a 50 store chain, leveraging it into a real estate empire, expanding into other areas, and becoming a billionaire? Slacker....
