I'm not in the camp of severe punishment. He's a moron ute. He needs pay a bunch and do a bunch of community service. I could get behind a few months jailtime too. Having a reduced charge his record will impact him enough. Then allow for expungement in a few years. Don't underestimate what the record does for getting a job. Thats pretty good natural consequence.
