than most sports reporters when it comes to asking solid questions. He is a bit goofy at times but you don't want two "Spencers" on the same broadcast. Notice how much Jarom's approach changes when he is on without Spencer. He is much more serious. I remember a thread a while back that suggested Jeff Hansen replace Jarom. I don't think most people realize how good both Spencer and Jarom are at their craft. They aren't former athletes that suddenly decided to take up color commentating. They have put in thousands of hours and formal education and practice to get where they are. As much as I enjoy reading Jeff on 247 and GHEB, he will be the first to tell you it's not an apples to apples comparison.
