if its an undrafted free agent who makes the 53 man roster, then they'll upgrade
his contract to some amount similar to what you are saying.
But if he is an undrafted free agent who just makes the practice squad, then its the 50K per month.
Its an uphill battle for the undrafted free agent to make the 53 man roster. Oftentimes even the 6th and 7th round draft picks don't end up making the 53 man roster.
