This is the same logic used by those who think Bama should’ve gotten SMU’s spot.
That a harder schedule (and better wins) negates an extra loss.
I disagree with the logic. SMU deserved that last spot and Indiana/Penn St. also deserved to get in.
(Of course, Bama also had really bad losses.)
