As an exempt, salaried employee do you watch your work hours?
Let's say you have a standard 8-5 job. No expectations to work more than that, as long as your are getting things done.
Let's say you have a kids school program that takes an hour of your time, or you go to the dentist for an hour, or you go to lunch and it runs a half hour longer than normal.
Do you keep track of that time and make it up? Do you ensure you account for 40 hours?
What if you have multiple things come up in a given week and combined they take up 5-6 hours away from normal work time. Do you make those hours up?
