This feels like lipstick on a pig. An in-conference matchup for a bowl game

is just lame. And the viewership gap between Playoff games and the rest of bowl season is going to be massive. No one will care about the rest of the bowl games. Maybe in another decade we'll get what we truly deserve: a 24+ team playoff just like FCS has.

USC, Washington, and Cal are all also eligible and therefore choices for the Alamo as former pac12 teams
