I think if he has another year at BYU similiar to this year he’ll be a hot commodity at least as an SEC or BIG 10 coordinator but possibly could find himself with a coaching gig at a UCF or Syracuse type P4 school.
Going to USU resets that clock to 2-3 years away from that type of job unless he gave them an astronomical turnaround in year 1. Maybe he wants an HC gig that badly but going from unable to leave the booth due to your heart to HC sounds pretty unlikely, I’d imagine that ups your stress quite a bit.
