Everybody knows he's got a foot out the door, and it's starting to hit their recruiting. For the good of the team, he should retire and let Scalley fully control this rebuild that's coming.
And it will be a rebuild. They lose a ton of players this year, and that's not even counting what needs to happen on the offensive side of the ball where, once again, Kyle needs to go OC shopping and his only ever success in that department was Ludwig.
I would not have thought this a year ago, but the best thing for Utah going forward is for KWhitt to retire and let the younger and fully committed Scalley go to work.
