Taking the Lord's name in vain doesn't mean swearing
It means saying you represent the Lord or do something in the name of the Lord when you have no authority to do so
Or secondly, you do something in the name of the Lord unworthily ....it isn't swearing. It's more serious than that
Not saying swearing is okay, just not one of the 10 commandments given to Moses, not "taking the Lord's name in vain" it's much more important than just swearing
