If the refs had any guts that should've been a flag. The truth is that he knew
he'd screwed up by giving BYU a Hail Mary shot. That should have never happened.
2nd and goal at the 3. Just punch it in for a two score lead. Or kick a FG for an 8 pt lead with 5 seconds left. Or turn it over on downs inside the 5 yard line with 8 seconds left.
Instead he gave us an actual shot at winning and it was 100% his own coaching idiocy. He knew it, took it out on the refs, and should have been flagged for it.
