Looks like it’s a mirrored quick game slants concept. Qb makes a pre snap read
and throws it to the side he likes the matchups. In theory progression would be read it inside out. Looks like Parker messed him up taking too many steps on the inside slant. Should be 1 step and go. Taking so many steps let the nickel play both he and Darius then Jake felt like he had to throw higher so the nickel couldn’t pick it and ended up sailing it to the corner.

If PK takes one step and cuts the nickel has to either come down or stay out wide. Qb throws opposite of where the nickel goes. And the Mike backer flows with the rb. But PK takes too long and nickel is able to float and play both.

That’s what made it so murky for Jake. Good play call— bad execution.

Just my opinion based on concepts though
