Oregon's OOC game against the MWC #1 team is the only good game. Penn State beat a B12 also-ran. Look at the Big Ten contenders' OOC games - they didn't play any other P4 conference contenders. Ohio State and Indiana only played - and Oregon and Penn State other OOC games were against - poor or mid-level MAC and Sun Belt teams or FCS opponents....all at home.
Ohio State plays all three of the other contenders, but NONE of the other contenders play each other. That's how you end up with one 12-0 team and three 11-1 teams that are all ranked in the top-5.
I wouldn't pick Penn State or Indiana in a home playoff game against any of the top-15 SEC contender teams - yes, even the 2-loss SEC teams.
