Line up 6 or 7 sticky pads across the entire entry to the pantry and close the door (don't want mouse to jump over the sticky pads--yes, they can do that). Mouse then cannot get in or out of pantry without walking over the sticky pads. I've done this a few times when we had a mouse and it worked. Also did it for a bedroom where I knew there was a mouse. Put sticky pads across the entire doorway out of the bedroom and caught him the first night.
