CrimWalCoug All-American in practice
My predictions for the BYU Men’s Cross-Country individuals at the NCAA championships.
Total team points: 86

1. Casey Clinger, 4th - 4x All-American; halfway through the race there will be a breakaway pack with the top guys, and he will be right there; hasn’t won a college race against top-flight competition but has never had a bad race either

2. James Corrigan, 14th - 1x All-American, has been coming on strong this season after a late start due to the Olympics; has been BYU’s #2 in his last two races and I expect him to pass guys in the last 2k

3. Creed Thompson, 19th - 1x All-American, has had a very solid season up to this point, did a nice job of staying patient at Regionals and moved up well over the last 2k

4. Joey Nokes, 24th - has not run well at his last two NCAAs but has been really solid in every race this season

5. Davin Thompson, 25th - 1x All-American, is finally healthy and has gotten better in each of his last three races; was only two seconds behind Creed at Regionals

6. Lucas Bons, 32nd - this is his best cross-country season yet; would love to see him become an All-American

7. Aidan Troutner, 59th - traditionally has faded in the back half of the season and this year looks no different; was our #3 at the Dellinger and our #7 at Big12s; he needs to not start out too fast
