The personalities have gradually faded away. Back in the 90’s every team had a player you hated or rooted against….
Right now there are a handful across the whole league.
I do think the rules changes leading
To less physical play just don’t necessitate having an enforcer or tough mentality with teams. For better or worse male machismo tends to be at its best when it is threatened. Not about of threatening behavior in the NBA right now.
