They are also doing everything they can to protect that reality too, give 8-9
spots to Big and SEC teams and most of the home field 1st round games to those teams and you have a nice recipe for self fulfilling prophecy
Of course the quarter and semi finals of the playoff are more likely to end up as almost exclusively Big and SEC teams when they have all the advantages (more teams and home games/sudo home games getting the bowl games closest to where they are geographically)

If we really want good change in college football, it needs to go beyond winning the conference championship.

I'd love to see Boise win in the playoffs. They almost beat Oregon on the road, so it's definitely possible.
