Do you have a delta platinum or reserve? If you got one you’d hit Diamond with
The MQD boost. If you have one, you could put some spend on it to get closer to diamond or you could get a second card that will get you there.

Platinum never gets upgrades. Most of my flights the last 6 years as Diamond has gotten first class upgrades. And for me

Im not SLC based, but I got first class upgrades on probably 75% of my flights last year as platinum
