The D made a good deal of it possible with all the turnovers they got in those early games. Losing the turnover battle has long been a tell on when this team is going to lose and throwing away an obvious TD possession at the end of the first half on a needless turnover was absolutely AWFUL!! Combine that with the probability that the D was absolutely not thinking potential trick play where KU was @ 4 and 14... if that was at all true then dummy on the Defensive coaches. That was an awesome opportunity to do EXACTLY what KU did and even though we had a primo opportunity to win after that score it surely took the wind out of the sails for our side. It has to weigh on the mind of all players and coaches that *** HERE we go again having to make the comeback happen***.
