Frankly, I think this is nowhere near as bad as when they played Rising hurt
Playing on a lis franc injury is painful and unstable, but not something you're going to further damage. And while Rose didn't play great in the second half, it wasn't a case where he was clearly hurt and incapable.

Yeah, he probably should have been pulled, but he looked nowhere near as bad or limited as Rising did against Arizona State. There it was clear Rising couldn't move or throw. And I'd guess (just by virtue of being a leg injury) that keeping Rising out there was risking corner injury.

This one was a bad decision (especially in hindsight). Keeping Rising out there was straight up malpractice
