BYU winning out is so much more relevant to me than the Big 12 getting two teams
into the CFP. Anyone that believes current conferences have long-term value as a brand is kidding themselves. Five years from now the current Big 12 will not exist as constituted. BYU’s brand name is much more important than a temporary conference affiliation.
