I have no problem with that statement. When playing tough man technique, there
is always a risk that the hand fighting can lead to defensive holding. If you are going to load the box and blitz aggressively, your DBs MUST put pressure on the receivers and push them off their desired route/footwork to disrupt the timing of the offense and give the blitz a chance to get home. The is in that is getting burned deep, or getting caught holding to avoid getting burned deep. Nothing wrong with the coaching and defensive philosophy, the Ute DB simply got beat on the outside release move by JoJo and ended up grabbing jersey instead of just aggressively pushing with his hands. The only thing to "coach" differently is to just focus on the DBs footwork and handwork fundamentals.
