Yep. I should have added if they were aggressive many would berate the strategy.
"Winning the game is paramount and priority #1, not style points!" many would scream on here.
And looking at UCF, it was conservative running that was salting the game away and when a pass play was called, that was when the strip sack fumble happened. I'm sure that doesn't make Sitake/ARod excited to put the ball in play when up 3 scores in the future.
