One of my startling lessons learned on my mission was that my family continued

on despite me being gone. I had never really thought about it before, but I observed that birthdays, weddings, deaths, etc. continued to happen without me being there. It was interesting to realize that. I'd never thought about it, but I did observe it.

Go. It'll be okay. I'm sure he'd want you to go and would go if you couldn't and he could.
