Yeah, I mean, looking back on this, Pope leaving might have been the greatest
thing to ever happen to BYU basketball. We should thank him profusely!

I don't love all the hate that Pope gets on here. Its not a good look IMO.

Agreed. Seemed like almost everyone here loved him before he left.

Not me. I 100% always thought it was car salesman fake. Was happy he left.

Any coach that dances in Kentucky gear on BYU’s home court while being BYU’s coach can pound sand. I’m sure he’s a great

I hope he fails miserably because he's in a position to steal LDS/Utah recruits,

Really good coach and thought he was great for BYU, but didn’t win very much in

If he would have just left with a tiny bit of gratitude and class,

I loved Pope. Sad he didn't leave more graciously. But oh well.

I loved Pope when he was here. KY and the program are at another level. 💪🏼🤙🏼

Considering the Pope is a whole other religion, I understand the skepticism

I'm just too busy feeling grateful for the post-Pope era in BYU sports to hate

Maybe part of the consternation is NIL backers and sponsors may not have believed in him as coach so we couldn't recruit

I didn't love the way he left BYU. That made all the difference to me.

You know what’s not a good look? Losing NCAA tourney games.

He announced he was going to Kentucky on our basketball court. He has no respect for BYU and get gets none from me.
