What's crazy is by benching Wilson against Houston, now there is doubt
If Wilson comes out, he knows that if he does anything errant, his coach doesn't have his back or trust him and will pull him. Rose will know this as well after getting the 2nd half start if he is back on the bench for Wilson on the 9th.
I can't imagine that's helpful to QB play.
