I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I feel so silly worrying about 2 years when
faced with your reality. I can’t really imagine (even with how I’m feeling today) what that kind of loss must feel like. If it helps, I lost my dad when I was little. There is a painful hole that just never quite fills. I’m so deeply grateful for the gospel and the atonement and its promises blessings of healing and eternal families. I hope you get a little more comfort each year, but I think it’s appropriate how much you still miss your son, and it’s certainly a testament to how much you love him and your relationship. If you ever need someone to scream and cheer with and talk and our beloved Cougs, BM me and we’ll chat!! Thank you for sharing and for the perspective. Be well my brother.

I hope we win a championship (or two 😉) this year for your son!
