IMO the problem is that basically every coach in the SEC outside of smart is new. and you see it every week with the sloppy play and inconsistency week to week. for example, the bama-tenn game. in the first half, you could probably throw JMU and coastal carolina out there and have a cleaner and better game. but in the 2nd half, both teams looked like legit good teams.
they have the best athletes. but the coaching isn’t good yet, and at the rate they keep firing everybody they’ll never be consistently good again.
