Throw in the atrocious performance last year at TCU and that is 4 really bad losses after a bye week for Kalani’s teams we really had no business losing or looking so bad.

That data is why some people are nervous about the Utah game being after a bye. Great coaches have their teams ready to go after a week off. Look at the Mike Gundy coaches OSU team, they were ready.

Based on the Arizona game this season maybe Kalani has turned a corner and the guys will be ready to roll come Nov 9th. I certainly hope so. The rivalry game has been so weird.
The roles will be reversed, Utah will play out of their minds like they have nothing to lose. BYU should be top 10 and have a lot to lose. We haven’t won at RES since Beck to Harline in 2006.
