Most of the Ute fans aren't really Ute fans.
They just hate Mormons and the LDS Church, so they cheer for the "woke" secular alternative. They are fair-weather fans at best. Utes start losing, they're gone on to something else.

The thing with Scalley. He’s never been outside Utah. I’d never want a HC who’d never coached somewhere else.
