Why do you need wifi? Just attach an AppleTV if you were watching streaming media on it directly.

If you don't have one, yes. Or attach a roku/nvidia shield/whatever google is selling nowadays.

But if you're in Apple's ecosystem at all, the Apple TV is probably the easy bet

If you don't want to spend $100, a Roku stick would do the job for half the price and you can do almost everything

Had an LG black screen on me after less than 4 yrs. and will never buy LG again.

Mine started doing that as well. I prefer the LG interface, but use WiFi

Common problem with LG tvs. Ive bought at least 50 for clinics I work for and over half had wifi issues.
