I'm pretty ignorant of all the intricacies of the TV money, but it seems to me that ESPN wants more content not less. You seem to be implying that ESPN views paying non-SEC/BG10 schools as a chore. But having a diverse portfolio of content seems extraordinarily beneficial provided they are paying appropriately for each game. So I wouldn't be surprised if some of this is being driven by ESPN, but I don't see the benefit to ESPN in cutting loose all the other schools. Am I missing something?
