If our upperclassmen were defensively stronger — they'd be better represented on my tally. Defensive competence
is my first consideration.
Experience matters. But so does size & athleticism.
SJ, for instance — was a very reliable defender for us last year. Both in help & in man. But he had his limitations. Sometimes some of the quicker guards demanded Richie & Jax. And even Knell could better handle some of the stronger guards & SFs than SJ.
