Most of the time regular entry isn’t that big of a deal through immigration coming back to the US, but two of the last
Three times (all in the last two months) and three times this year for me, Global Entry would have been massively beneficial.

Once at JFK (coming back from the UK), once at ATL (coming back from the DR), and once at DFW (coming back from Finland), the lines took between 40 min to an hour to get through immigration. Too many flights coming in at the same time. Although I’ve never had to wait at SLC, SeaTac, or SFO. Las Vegas and LAX are a crap shoot, but most of the time, they’ve been just fine.

ATL has multiple immigration points, I believe, though. This last time coming back from the DR, I walked right up, but it looked like a different entry area.
