They didn’t really understand the situation or know what was going on, all they knew was they had to get rescued from a flooded home.

I distinctly remember having to pickup a little girl who was holding her little kitten that was wrapped in a towel. The kitten just meowed and meowed, while the little girl just cried and cried and shivered with fear of what was going on.
