not believe he was the guy and he is proving me wrong. I like him and would love nothing more than for him to have a HOF career, but the regression in 2022 and 2023 had me doubting him a lot. I am currently believing in him (but I also thought 5-2 looked pretty good last year). He could still regress this year and in the future. He has not yet earned a lifetime contract. But I am happy to eat crow that he is doing great and I like him and love BYU. It would be fantastic if he took BYU to a bowl every year, got in the CFP a few times, dominated Utah, and somehow surpassed Lavell as our greatest coach. I find it hard to believe any BYU fan would feel differently. I am not insinuating this is the standard, I just want to point out that I would love for him to be successful here.
