I think there were (and still may be) doubts about some of the staff. It wasn't just BYU fans thinking that the seat was getting warm. However, I believe it is disingenuous to state that a large # of BYU fans would actively root against their team to prove a point.

The poll referenced had very little participation likely because it was a ridiculous question.
