Good point about the system. Here's where the veteran advantage comes in:
1. Understanding how the referees call a game. Staying out of foul trouble.
2. Communication and team defense.
3. Emotional and mental leadership.
4. Knowing the difference between a good shot and better shot.
5. Valuing the ball, lowering turnovers.
6. The simple fact of having played with the other vets, knowing their tendencies and preferences and strengths.
