athleticism/quickness/strength I think they're near clones. For their size, both are very blessed. Even the proportional length, shoulders & hand size look about even (neither are freaks, but both are very good in that department)

What sets em apart clearly is the shooting ability (geesh, that was tough Achilles for Kyle) & those three inches in height (which in basketball is a LOT of course — particularly when you're talking 6'6 versus 6'9).

Another slight difference I think is noticeable, though — is the ball handling. I know Kyle prided himself as a top-flight ball-handler for a wing-sized guy — & while his handles WERE very tight in a technical sense, his ball security & maneuverability in the open court were NOT as good at the D1 level as he thought they were. And Kyle was quite stubborn about taking criticism & changing his game in college based on that limitation (& that's NOT to say he didn't work hard on both his conditioning & his handles while in college; he clearly did — but in the moment, he often refused to play to his strengths (& weaknesses) in our lineups).

From what I see so far, I think Demin is clearly a better open court ball handler than Kyle was when entering his college career. And he seems to already be better than the Kyle who graduated from BYU, too. A lot of it, I think — comes down to being more aware of his natural limitations in putting the ball to the floor in traffic as a taller guy. I think he better accepts the fact that he'll never be a 6'2 PG. And that he shouldn't try to be that.
