There have literally only been 13 undefeated P5(4) teams in the playoffs in 9 yr

history. Only 11 in 8 years, if you exclude the COVID shortened season when tOSU was 6-0. Having 3, maybe 4 teams undefeated in P4/5 in the same year at the end of the regular season is about as many as you ever have, not happening in 1 conference. Undefeated is just too hard.

This isn’t ideal… it’s possible for BYU, Iowa State and Colorado to go undefeated in conference.
