Would be more optimistic about his chances of bouncing back if

1. He didn't look defeated.

2. Cam Rising wasn't relaxing on the sidelines, while the fans and media talk endlessly about how desperately they need him back on the field, and how much better everything will be if that can somehow happen.

I guess you never know, maybe the kid has more fight in him than I think, but it really didn't look like it last night.
