the "original" Zorro who takes over after his father's death and a female native american who decides to take on the mantle of the departed Zorro to enact vengeance against the Spaniards who are oppressing the local Indians. in addition to fighting the normal injustice, the two have to fight out who has the right to be Zorro.

decent first season and much less of the "for modern audiences" message that the CBS one promises to have.
