Can you do spray in foam insulation as a DIY project?

Yes. You rent the machine from Home Depot and buy the bags of insultation to put in the hopper. Easy.

I think he's talking about the spray foam insulation, not the fiberglass insulation.

Just run a hose of pressurized polyurethane spray foam into the home depot fiberglass blower and go nuts.

Spray foam is the way to go - but pay a professional - IMO it's worth it to get it done right.

It's fine. It's the best option for metal buildings. Lots of feelings out there

Use thin foam panels instead of spray or pay someone to spray.

I insulated my metal pole building with foam panels and it works OK

Spray is by far the best. The equipment and training you need to do it without making a nightmare out of your project
