Lotta “if’s” in that statement. Some of the apologizing for QB play on CB…
…seems strangely familiar to the apologizing that went on in 2017 after the Portland St game where we scored only 20 pts and it was because Portland St supposedly had “NFL corners”. It was Portland St people.
Retzlaff has been decent at some things but not good at others and this is while playing the 123rd easiest SOS so far this season. He hasn’t seen a really good D yet and has been fair to middlin’ in a super clean pocket (#22 in clean pocket).
