I am currently a childless couple, and not including the mortgage. . . Our budget breaks down to $3.4K per month, add in our mortgage at min payments, we are at $5.2K a month, or about $60K a year. But we are living VERY comfortably, we wish we could have children by now. . . Probably could budget better as well.
